Canton Jones Rallies Texas Rangers to World Series
Canton Jones, joins forces with Randy Phillips to create “The Claw” Song for Major League baseball’s Texas Rangers and their fans.
Randy Phillips, with the group Phillips, Craig & Dean, is an artist that has been performing for over 20 years. Randy was watching ESPN and noticed The Rangers players doing “The Claw”. Randy went to bed and woke up that night with a tune and words running through his head. The next morning, he got to work and “Do The Claw” was born with Canton Jones.
If you watch or attend any Texas Rangers baseball game, you will see a crazy salute from players to players or players to fans in a means to rally the team and the city.
With the use of the “Claw” and “Antlers”, Texas Rangers have rallied their team and their city to clinch their first Playoff seed and Divisional Championship in 11 years.
“The Claw” anthem has not only caught the attention of baseball fans through out the league, but it has also sparked a huge campaign to support the troops and families for the holiday season.

Canton Jones Partners with Vicki Mac Lataillade and Central South
Central South Distributors and Christian hip-hop artist, Canton Jones have entered into an exclusive licensing deal with his CAJO International label. The first product to come from this agreement is the just release Kingdom Business 3, which arrived in stores on August 31, 2010.
“I’ve been in this business for 35-years, but I have seldom seen an artist with the talent, intelligence and versatility like Canton Jones,” says legendary gospel visionary Vicki Mac Lataillade, co-owner of CSD. “I am mesmerized by his abilities as an artist and feel privileged to have the opportunity to work with him and his label.”
